IT’S TIME TO MAKE A POSITIVE CHANGE – REAL NAPPY WEEK 2019

Disposable coffee mugs, plastic straws, excess packaging, disposable wipes have all made the headlines this year, as Sir David Attenborough turned the spotlight on plastic waste.

But what about Cloth Nappies?  Made of around 50% plastic single-use nappies are as much, if not more, of an issue, than single-use coffee cups.

An average child uses 5,000 nappies from birth to potty.   All of these nappies go to landfill where they DO NOT biodegrade.   A staggering eight million single-use nappies are binned everyday in the UK.

I run a cloth nappy retail business and volunteered at nappy libraries for over 10 years.  For me 2019 has seen in increase in interest and sales, but there is still so much to do.  I have heard every excuse for not using cloth nappies, but the excuses are running out.

We need to make the change for the next generation.   Think about it!

If you are serious about making a change now is the time and it could not be easier.

During Real Nappy Week I’ll be doing a number of blogs to help you make the change.
